Code of Conduct
(Applies to Schmoozd, LAFounders and all affiliated events & platforms)
At Creativewhiz, Inc., we want everyone who attends our events to have a great experience. Whether you are attending, speaking, exhibiting, sponsoring, partnering with, or working at one of our events, our goal is to create an environment where everyone can participate, feel welcome, and benefit.
Safety, respect, and consideration are essential to this goal. While issues are rare, we believe it is important to be clear about the standards and expectations that apply at all Creativewhiz, Inc. events—whether live, virtual, or hybrid—because individual actions can affect others, and everyone plays a role in creating a positive experience.
This Code of Conduct explains our expectations. Anyone who behaves in an unacceptable manner may be asked—and is expected—to stop immediately. We reserve the right to revoke access to the event and remove any individual who violates this Code of Conduct.
Comfort & Safety at Live Events
- Never act in a way that puts your own or others’ health, safety, or security at risk.
- Review and follow all applicable local and national health guidance before and during the event.
- If you have a fever or symptoms that could put others at risk, we encourage you not to attend. Please contact the event team to discuss alternative ways to participate.
- Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, including emergency protocols, access rules, and any age restrictions. Do not help others bypass these requirements.
- Do not obstruct exits, alter or remove safety signage, or misuse safety or emergency equipment.
- Report any unsafe behavior, hazards, or security concerns to the event team immediately.
A Respectful Environment
Creativewhiz, Inc. has zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, abuse, or violence at any live event, virtual event, official auxiliary event, or on our digital platforms and community spaces.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Discrimination based on race, color, sex, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic.
- Offensive language or gestures, including harassment, profanity, obscenity, or racial, religious, or ethnic slurs.
- Inappropriate or offensive materials or content, including intimidating, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning content, and the inappropriate use of nudity or sexual imagery in public spaces.
- Sexual harassment, including unwelcome sexual attention, comments, gestures, or physical contact, whether verbal, physical, visual, or online.
- Stalking or intrusive behavior, including unwanted following, photography, filming, or recording.
- Threatening or intimidating behavior, whether verbal, written, or physical, including menacing gestures.
- Physical harassment or violence, including pushing, shoving, or the use of force.
- Possession or display of weapons or items used to threaten or intimidate others.
- Deliberate damage to the venue, event property, or other participants’ property.
- Assembling with the intent to disrupt the event, disturb the peace, or commit an offense.
Participation & Engagement
We want everyone to be able to participate fully and comfortably.
- Do not deliberately prevent others from attending or engaging in any part of the event.
- Do not heckle, catcall, or disrupt speakers, participants, or activities in a sustained or deliberate manner.
- Do not engage in behavior that endangers others or interferes with their ability to act safely.
Acting Sustainably
Sustainability is an important part of the Creativewhiz experience. At live events, please:
- Follow local guidance on sustainable travel where possible.
- Use reusable containers when permitted.
- Make use of recycling and sustainable waste disposal options provided at the venue.
Responsible Consumption
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol or other substances, legal or otherwise, whose behavior negatively impacts others may be removed from the event.
- Follow all venue and event rules regarding alcohol, smoking, vaping, and tobacco use. Only consume these where permitted.
- If you are demonstrating or operating machinery, equipment, or installations that could impact safety, you must not consume any substance that could impair judgment or performance.
Event Attire
- Dress appropriately for a professional event environment, whether attending in person or appearing on-camera at virtual events.
- Avoid clothing, images, or slogans that may be offensive to others or disrespectful of local culture.
Respect & Consideration Online
This Code of Conduct also applies to all Creativewhiz-operated digital platforms, event apps, livestreams, and community spaces.
Content must not include:
- Harassing, accusatory, or destructive comments toward other participants or the event.
- Knowingly false, misleading, or deceptive claims about individuals, products, or companies.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates this Code without warning.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, or have any other concerns, we strongly encourage you to report it as soon as possible.

All reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly and appropriately.
By attending or participating in any Creativewhiz, Inc. event, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and help us create a safe, respectful, and inclusive experience for everyone.
