By attending any Schmoozd, and LA Founders event, all attendees, venue partners, vendors, and third-party participants (“Participants”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk

Participation in LA Founders events is voluntary. By attending, you acknowledge that you are participating at your own risk.

You understand that events may involve:

Crowded environments
Interactions with other attendees and third parties
Consumption of food and beverages (including alcohol)
General event-related activities

You voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, associated with attending and participating in the event.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless LA Founders, its organizers, affiliates, employees, contractors, sponsors, venues, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to:

Personal injury or illness
Property damage, loss, or theft
Interactions with other attendees, vendors, or third parties
Consumption of food or beverages
Any incidents occurring before, during, or after the event

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LA Founders and its associated parties (including venues and partners) from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your actions or omissions during the event
Your violation of any applicable laws, regulations, or event policies
Any harm caused to other attendees, property, or third parties

Third-Party Responsibility

LA Founders events may include participation from venues, vendors, sponsors, and other third-party partners.

LA Founders does not control and is not responsible for:

The actions, products, or services of third parties
The quality, safety, or availability of food, beverages, or products provided
Any agreements or interactions between participants and third parties

Personal Property

Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings.
LA Founders is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Agreement to Terms

By attending the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Indemnification & Assumption of Risk Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not attend the event.
